On the banks of the lovely Lake Pichola, Udaipur is perhaps among Rajasthan’s most romantic cities. Palaces emerge out of the shimmering water, the narrow lanes conceal fabulous outdoor restaurants, incredible heritage architecture dots the streets, and the markets thrive with traditional art and craft. Spend some time uncovering the stories of this magnificent city before proceeding to the imposing hilltop fort of Kumbalgarh for sweeping views and wildlife safaris.

DAY 5-7

In Sadargarh and Deogarh, you’ll explore pastoral lands and Rajasthan’s scrub forests. Go on a starlit night safari to explore the wilderness and all its small critters. Visit villages and fields to explore a slice of local Rajasthani life, picnic by serene lakes, and explore forts along the way.

DAY 8-11

A scenic train ride through the Aravallis will take you to Rohet, where you can explore the heart of rural Rajasthan. Walk through villages with mud houses to meet the local Bishnoi tribe and hear their stories of living in harmony with nature. The stunning Mehrangarh Fort dominates the city, surrounded by architectural marvels like stepwells and ancient temples.
